The Single Mother Advancement Project
The Single Mother Advancement Project (THESMAP) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and advancing single mothers. We recognize the extraordinary challenges many single mothers face while balancing family responsibilities, career goals, education, and financial stability.
Through mentorship, educational resources, career development support, financial literacy initiatives, and community partnerships, THESMAP helps single mothers gain access to the tools and opportunities needed to create lasting success for themselves and their families.

Touch of Braids is more than a hair-braiding salon - it is a community-centered brand built on empowerment, entrepreneurship, and cultural excellence. With a vision to expand through franchising across the United States, Touch of Braids creates economic opportunities for beauty professionals while serving as a platform for community engagement and outreach.
Beyond providing exceptional hair-braiding services, Touch of Braids actively invests in initiatives that uplift neighborhoods, support families, and strengthen local communities. Every client who walks through our doors becomes part of a larger mission focused on confidence, self-expression, and community advancement.

JoshuaMekhi Photography Solutions delivers professional photography, videography, drone services, and media production solutions while maintaining a strong commitment to community development.
We believe creative industries can change lives.
Through community programs and outreach initiatives, we provide youth and underserved populations with opportunities to explore careers in photography, videography, media production, and drone piloting - often at no cost to participants.
By introducing individuals to in-demand skills and emerging technologies, we help open doors to career pathways that may have otherwise seemed out of reach.

Our commitment to community extends far beyond our organizations. As part of our mission, we provide free higher education planning, career planning, and financial planning consultation services to individuals and families throughout low-income and underserved communities.
